The growing popularity of the Ragdoll cat is no surprise to those who are fortunate enough to be owned by one, or many.

A Ragdoll is characteristically a large, sweet tempered blue eyed cat that will follow you from room to room, just wanting to be near you.  They will meet you at your door when you come home. They are a quiet cat, a purr is usually the only sound you will hear.

Ragdolls are an indoor only cat as they are too trusting to be left outdoors. They get along well with children and other pets.

A Ragdoll’s  fur is soft, semi long, with a silky plush feel to it, that does not tend to mat. They do shed, but less than many other breeds.

Colors vary from shades of seal (brown) to blue (a soft gray) and red, with white. Color patterns are pointed, mitted, bicolor and a mix of the above colors, or lynx with some striping. Your preference is all that matters.
